Mainland China Collection

As a Chinese photographer, I find endless inspiration in the places I call home. This series takes you through four cities—Beijing, Chengdu, Nanjing, and Taiyuan—each captured through a personal, quiet gaze. Through architecture, street life, and moments of stillness, I explore the shifting textures of modern China while reconnecting with its cultural roots.

In Beijing, I photographed the minimalist strength of Tadao Ando’s architecture and the spontaneous rhythms of jazz bars. Chengdu offered everyday poetry along the streets of Yulin, rich with human warmth and local flavor. Nanjing revealed its softer side—tree-lined afternoons on Yihe Road and golden sunsets at Xuanwu Lake. In Taiyuan, I turned my focus to the solemn beauty of traditional Chinese architecture, where history speaks through stone and shadow.

This collection is a visual diary of return—a personal journey of rediscovery across landscapes both familiar and ever-changing
